Sorry to hijack but any way to do that for a '72?

I have all documentation except the window sticker, and the tank build sheet (but it should still be there).

That calculator is based on stats rather than facts to a large degree.

A much more accurate way of determining 'born on date' is by looking at the trim tag attached to the body on the drivers side pillar post. 1968-81 St. Louis built cars will have a letter followed by two numbers (D17 for instance) in the upper right corner.

The letter designates the month and the two numbers the date that the tag was attached. Actual born on date is that date or up to 1-3 days later if there was a holiday or weekend.

1976 production started in August '75 so D17 would be Nov. 17th.

The trim/data plate inside the drivers door.
You should find a letter followed by 2 numbers.
The letter denoted the month of final assembly and the numbers are the day.
A=August (First month of new model year)
B=September
C=October and so on.

My '72 reads K28 or June 28, 1972

And '70. There was a strike that year and they didn't start building until late.

What's the last 5 numbers on your Vin? You must right at the end!
