I have in my kitchen my orig tranny(t-10) the 1st summer I bought my car tranny starting making noise so I rushed to the 1st shop and they convinced me to put a used tranny in and everything went fine, just hurt my wallet. I did however, ask for my orig tranny and parts back. A long story short I think I got taken advantage of, but either way I have atleast the orig casing and most of my parts/gears( g-f loves the fact that I proudly display it in my kitchen btw). Now I would like to attempt to rebuild this tranny and order the correct parts that I'm missing or broken. Does any one have any recommendations of books or websites that could walk an amauter through this or is this just a silly plan and should I leave this to the pros. btw the biggest challenge is I didn't take this apart, I just have 2 boxes of parts and the casing.
thanks for any help...

Search the tech forum. There was a question recently about rebuilding 4 spds, and alot of comments about doing it yourself. There are books and video's available.
Marty,
I'm in New Haven and have rebuilt Munice and ST-10's what year is this out of?? If it's your original then the car ID will be stamped in it too.
The video Paul from www.5speeds.com has is worth the price and his parts are very good.
