Here's a shot of my '73 taken at Beech Bend in Bowling Green in 1993 at the 20th year reunion. Car had just come from the paint shop the day before. Took 3rd place in the show. I've owned the car since 1987.
I think I'm going to try that photobucket thing this weekend so maybe I can get some new pics up here. I think some out there might be getting tired of this pic.
I want a 73 Vert - 4 speed - 454 with AC really BAD !
I'm stalking one for sale here locally - the late owner's estate needs to clear it yet. Yellow/white ragtop, Saddle leather - #s 454, 4 speed, A/C, gelcoated and repainted within the past 10 years, and a very nice interior. I just sold my '72 rolling project to help clear funds. As much as I wanted another chrome front shark (I've had 3), I think this may be one worth grabbing!

...73's are a year. Missed out on a 9,000mi '73 Silver L-82 4spd no option(MY KINDA CAR ) convertible with Black vinyl interior for $20K about 6yrs ago at Bloomington-ProTeam later sold it for $29K.
I've had two LT-1s that were really potent (when they were tuned and running right). How does your 454 4 spd. '73 feel in comparison since you have both? Obviously not a high winder, but does it pull and scoot pretty well? All of my big blocks have been Olds 455s. Just curious about the head-to-head between the LT-1 and 454 in a shark since I'm looking at a '73 BB now.

The 73 454 car has a 3:08 rear and this makes it feel slower. I am replacing the stock 454/muncy with a 454 roller (600 torque) and tremec 5 speed today. I would have bet on my LT1 stock vs stock but not now. The BB will/ should eat it.
