Default question about headlight buckets
prepping is beginning on my 69 for paint. The headlight assemblies are completely taken apart and I was wondering if the cast aluminum area is supposed to be natural or is it painted body color? This is the area where all of the stuff get screwed and bolted.

The frame around the headlights is painted in the back but the aluminum piece with the hinge that the headlight frame bolts up to is natural....
