Experience with rear window tint insert?
Anyone have any experience with the following product from Mid-America?

I like the idea of it going in and out with ease, but I don't want it if it looks "cheap."

I still have mine. You get a really weird glare at night and that makes it hard to see thru.
If you can get a professionally done tint I think you would be happier.
The problem is the complex curve and alot of tinters dont want to mess with it, thats why I bout the plexi in the first place.

My '81 had one of those when I bought it. It didn't rattle, the fit was good & it was OK overall. The one problem I had is that my Vette is kept somewhere dark & at the end of the drive is a ditch & several large trees. Reversing out at night was a real pita as I couldn't see anything through it, so I took it out. In a lit area it's fine & I guess the problem I had would be the same with any tinted glass.
