I have a Local Speed Shop and
Stock Car Products , but I have also purchased Russell fittings from Jeg's or Summit. If you order from Jeg's or Summit I suggest calling and getting some technical help on the line unless you specifically know what you need. After having gone with Russell I have seen some literature that stated Aeroquip is the best, but I can't speak to that first hand.
If you don't already know how to assemble the AN to hose I suggest you ask for literature on this or go to the vendors website to get.
Good Luck

A word to the wise here....if you use Earl's cheapo braided hose for your fuel line and your state mandates reformulated gas this gasoline will literally rot right through the inner liner of said braided hose after about three years and leak right through the braid. This condition will be worsened by pushing the fuel through the hose with an electric pump. Get good hose and don't burn up your Vette....

Earl's Hose Pitfalls
Be advised- several years after I plumbed my Mustang vintage racer with $250.00 worth of Earl's braided hose (the "economy" variety) fuel started leaking through the braid of the hose when I lit the pump. I was using a combination of race gas and (reformulated) pump gas; methinks the pump gas rotted through the hose. THIS STUFF IS DANGEROUS!! Vettes burn so easily and fiercely that it it absolutely essential that all underhood fuel hoses be rated for use with reformulated swill....if you plumb your system with AN-type fittings make sure that whatever hose you get will work with this evil gasoline....

I have one comp fitting and plan on using two more, like Norval said they will withstand more pressure than your average fuel system will see. I picked mine up at the local hardware depot.
thanks for all the replies, I'll check them out
birdsmith: I have to ask about the hose and what it will handle when I get to that point. thanks for the headsup.

Went by the local industrial rubber and hose supply house today to see if they could make up some hoses for me. While I was there the sales person gave me a automotive aeroquip catalogue with all the fittings they make, hoses and ratings, assembly instructions, torque specs, and service specs for there fittings. They have a minimum order on each fitting so they can’t supply the fittings but the information in the catalogue will be very helpful.
