It had very little to do with the structure of the car. They were just lucky they did not hit at the doors. It would have killed them instantly. They should find the driver and drag him behind a car at 100. Idiot!

dont get the point of trying to find the driver, he had already what he deserved, and maybe more than that

what did that car do to end up like that. That idiot should be driven at over 100+mph and wraped around a telephone pole.

The passenger was the driver. I've seen some wild stuff on PCH in the very early hours. A lot of very young adults with a lot of money acting invinceable. That is one of the reasons I left all of that lunacy and moved up here. Up here, I'm crazy. Down there I was conservative and sane.

The "safety" comment was intriguing.

Many of these exotic companies don't have to comply with the same requirements as the larger OEMs, so some of the driver and passenger safety criteria is technically unknown, but simply assumed to be correct.

They probably just got lucky. Any side impact that sets off the frontal airbags has to be fairly violent.

Default Dietrich did it....

In the video the guy found at the scene swore he wasnt driving and that his German friend Dietrich was driving and ran off after the accident.

the guy at the scene blew a .09 on the breathalyzer.

His lawyers will make out on this one.

Damn shame about the Enzo.

The sad part is I am sure he had full coverage. So guess who is going to pay for the car? Yep you got it all of the other people that use the same insurance company. I bet someone got a pucker that morning lol.
