Not at all....Spring replacement was easy...just took bolts out of rear muffler hangers to drop exhaust down more.....used my buds lift at his shop as he has a tall screw jack....better/quicker than garage floor at home...(did spring a few months ago) Just installed Bilstein Sports yesterday....

Did you go from a fiberglass monospring back to a steel leaf? Why?

The composite spring was on Vette when I bought it.I prefer the feel of the 7 leaf over the 330# TRW...and I have a steel FE7 spring on the 78...

Ride is great.got the Sports..stiffer than the KYB"s ....took it over a bumpy road and you can feel it,but vette was stable..much better than the TRW set up...which had a weird lope to it,BTW....I'll take you for a spin next time we get together...by the way..we meet at big flag this Sunday at 9:30 AM....check web site...I'll be driving the beast...

Saturday will be busy for me...friend has weighing scales...pads hooked up to a computer...plan is to weigh both vettes..78/69..and get front/rear/side/side weight data plus total weight...so,I'll run down to Murphy, then hot foot it back to weigh both vettes..if he don't go to Ocotillo with his sandbuggy...
