Mine is behind the passenger fender. The red coil will match your car.

I mounted mine on the front of the radiator support behind the front grill on the passinger side. Gets plenty of cool air. Been there for about eight years with no problems.

Mine is in front of the radiator support, off to the side. I'd take a picture, but you can't really see it. It's been there for about eight years and works fine.

Default I would recommend the MSD

Blaster High Vibration Coil over the Blaster 2. Blaster 2 is oil filled and susceptible to burning out the coil winding if it is not mounted vertically with no slant. the MSD High Vibration is filled with an epoxy I believe and is more durable. Only about $10 difference in price.

Jeg's part# 121-8222
Blaster High Vibration Coil
For circle track, off road and other severe duty racing applications, this is the coil! The windings of the High Vibration Coil #121-8222 are completely encased in a premium epoxy making it impossible for vibration to affect the windings. This assembly is housed in a unique alkyd molded shell which provides high dielectric characteristics plus a very durable shell. Brass primary terminals ensure full voltage delivery and are spaced far apart to eliminate the chance of spark arc-over. The High Vibration Coil can be mounted in any position and can be used with a standard canister coil mount.

My 6A box is on the passenger side fender well above the a-arm. Had to get the distributor extension wire loom to reach.

unless you running nitrous, skip the box and install the msd e-curve billet dist. no box, no weights or springs, smaller than hei, built in rev limiter. its a no brainer

I don't know but do you think she was talking about a present for the vette or what she wanted for your 13th anniv? You better be getting 13 long stems and a ring for her or you maybe sleeping in the vette.

I put mine (blaster coil & MSD digital 6 plus) on the passenger side wheel well below/behind the radiator expansion tank. Can't see it in the photo, but the coil is on the firewall across from the windshield washer can. I can get to these by removing the grill behind the wheel. (That's my Ford remote starter solenoid...)
