considering a ZL-1 Camaro is a 1 million dollar car these days does $10K for the correct carb really sound like a lot of money??

The COPO system could be used to order just about anything if you knew what to ask for. That's how people like Yenko got their wild hi-po stuff. It's for a ZL-1, anyway, not an L88.
