What Color block?

What Color block?
Will be getting a new motor soon my body is red and I am going with red accessorys and chrome of course red wires what color shoud i do the block in????

That is also a good color and actually the color that I would put on because my car is black

BLACK is best for heat transfer ... look at REAL endurance iron V8 (cup etc).
Otherwise, paint block correct shade for your year C3 ... orange or blue.

I think GM should have kept blue for V6 engines and 4 bangers. I never understood why they did that.

Since you ask opinions.. I always liked the stock as possible look, never had anything against headers, intakes, carbs and chrome air cleaners, but that's where it ends for me.. Red wires/accessories ??
but as most say "it's your car"..

do red or black, i did orange and i'm changing it back to red. just doesn't look rite w/everything else red or chromed or black.

i did mine in aluminum but not pleased with the results. i'll change to red like my car next fall

Lol NASCAR engines and circle track don't use paint.

If you feel as I do, it's not the color as much as the details. patience and detailing it right make all the difference in the world IMHO.
