I have it for PS2 (actually, I have 2 copies...dont know how that happened). I only played for a few hours. The reviews were correct...the game is not that good. The only cool thing is the HUGE selection of vettes. Every year, damn near every model.
Kinda a waste of money, I will ship it to you if you pay shipping (Xbox version)....Better option is to get Midnight Club DUB, you can unlock a '69 or '70, and can add body kits to make it look like any c3.
Like change out the exhaust manifolds to headers and remove the cats?
F that smog crap yo! I don't want crap that comes out of my engine to go back in haha. But seriously I like being able to change the gear ratios, suspension, and other things like you can in gran turismo.

Well in Gran Turismo 2 they had '67, '69, '82, '95 ZR1, and '96 Corvettes available. Graphics weren't that great but it had so many cool cars and lots of tracks and all of the tweaks you wanted. GT3 only had the C5, which disappointed me.
GT4 went gold back in November of 2004. In fact, they were supposed to ship it before the Christmas season, but due to marketing issues did not ship until Feb. 0f 2005. This would have been before the design of the C6, if I remember correctly.
And I'm rather glad that they never developed a specific brand titled game, like EA did with Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed. Pretty much every title I've seen that has been licensed specifically for an automotive styling or brand has been something of a failure.
The Corvette title in question, Ford Racing 1,2, and 3...Most of their game budget was spent in getting the licensing tied down to get approval for specific titles. So far, the Gran Turismo series has been one of the most successful titles in the way of licensing, and have been able to avoid this pitfall.
I have it for Xbox. It's definitely jippy. I do plan to use it for a homemade video, though. Since you can select the year and paint, I'm going to race around a Bridgehampton Blue '70, then replay the race, and videotape it with a camcorder. Those action shots will be spliced into a movie with shots from my real vette. All I need now is a script, and lots of beautiful women. Look for it in theaters in about 3 months.
