Default Big Bonus, Need New Wheels

Team,

Just got a big bonus form the boss!!!

What's the best/coolest set of new wheels I can get for my '79 that will bolt on without any adaption/spacer needs? I love the brushed AR TT II's everyone's into but I also like the bright chromy classic Crager look. I'm aware AR makes a Chrome TT. Other thoughts? Pix? My car is black with chromed out sidepipes (installed since this pic)...

I figure I can talk my support team into letting me blow a grand, tires will follow after I get all the suspension cleared up. Best to keep price as low as possible...( or else I see more than a new dining room in my future)...

Smile on,
Steve

You might consider these:

Its the Boyd Coddington "Smoothie 2" Its similar to the TT2 only nicer

If you get 8" wide with 4" of backspacing you wont have any fitment issues.

Best/coolest is really a matter of personal taste. I love the look of the TT2 but decided to go a different route because they are so common. I went with the AR Hopster instead

A portion of my bonus went towards American Eagle Alloys Series 211s (similar to AR TTIIs) Had the tires mounted on them yesterday. I'll mount the wheel/tires on the car tonight and go show off at our local Corvette club meeting. - not that any of the c5 owners will even notice.

How about these:

Stockton Wheel TQ. The pic is 15x7 but they make a 17x8 and 18x9. Combines the classic 5 spoke with the modern soft rim.
