VIN info
Can anyone give me info on a '71 coupe with the vin #194371S102704.
Not real sure what the vin can tell me, but any options or components would be apprecaited. Don't have the black book and wouldn't know how to use it

Position 1 [1] is Chevrolet Division
Position 2 [9] is body series Corvette
Position 3 [4] is type of engine V8
Position 4&5 [37] is coupe
Position 6 [1] is year 1971
Position 7 [S] is the manufacturing plant, St Louis, MO
Position 8 through 13 is your production sequence.
Post your block engine numbers with three engine code suffix and your
trim tag and that will tell you more about what engine etc etc you had.

Hey 71coupe do they have one of those for a 72? I tried changing the number in the link line and it took me to a porno site. (just kidding but it didnt take me to what I was looking for).

Thanks guys!!! I'll have to get more info off the car. I thought you might be able to figure out options from just the vin...like when you get a repro window sticker. Does anyone know if NCM will do that for a '71?? I got one for my '00 and it was pretty cool to have!!
