emblems on 80 L-82

emblems on 80 L-82
Hi, I am the new owner of a 1980 L82, my first vette. I was wondering about the placement of the L82 emlems. Mine are on the front fenders behind the wheel wells, I see some vettes with the numerals on the sides of the hood scoopes. Also is the nose emblem a stick on or does it have posts like the gas tank emblem. The one for mine is missing and there are no holes. Does anyone know where to pick one up, I have looked everywhere and they seem to have discontinued 80-81 nose emblem production.

i have a 1980 L82...the nose emblem is a stick on, and sometimes hard to find..check with dr.rebuild...the fender emblems are placed centered above the fender vents...our cars do not have hood emblems...

Uh that "NOS" NOSE emblem is a stick on with posts - at least it is on mine. I bought 1980 NOS nose and gas tank emblems for my 81 because I liked the metal outline better than the black outline used on the 81 which is basically the same emblem.
