wheels- should I ?
I found these for $600....
4" backspace - good
like new - good
17 X 7 - hmmmm
i think i really need 17X8... but....they are half price...
what are the cons of a smaller width?
opinions please.... thanks.

Do it.
I really like those. My brother had those (15 inch) on his 69 Vette and they looked great, the 17s will look even better. Sounds like a great deal. Post some pics when you get em installed.

great looking wheel but if you go with a smaller wheel width 17x7, it's going to look kind of small and funny outback.

well.... i think i'll pass because they are 7 not 8....
here's the ad from craigslist in case somebody else wants them:
Set of 4 Wheels in like new condition. Fit GM 5 X 4 3/4 bolt pattern with a 4 inch back space. Call Joe at 972-572-6677
