Got started on the body,and put some re-build paint on the carb and intake.

Hello,
It looks like your carb and intake are ready to drop in place.
I dont see any suspension on your car. Are you doing a frame off restoration here.

Frame off,and nut and bolt.
Chassis is now in the neighbors garage.

I'm a pretty good shade tree mechanic.....I have rebuilt a few 350 SBs over the years.....but I don't see how you EVER get one back together from that point !

IMPRESSIVE...I'd be scared to death !

No problem getting them back together,now getting them back toghter right is the hard part. Any way,I shot the entire car with an epoxy sealer today,minus the doors and front valance.

damn thats alot of primer! what did you use to knock the old paint off? and what brand primer? and what grit paper you gonna use to sand it?

sorry for the ?s but im about to hit this endeavor on mine...thanks!

Corvette Body & Paint Repair Basics,Tech tips-C-3. Look for a paper with this title,it gives all the info for for this paint job,materials and technique.

Well,anyway,if anyone wants to know the procedures I'm using to paint my car,they can be found on this site by going to OTHER at the top of the page then TECH TIPS then C-3 then BODY AND PAINT BASICS or something like that,and print it out. By the way the paper was written by Lars,so I feel it's more than adequate. Very easy to read.
