Default Differential date code

I'm trying to decode the date stamp on the differential in my 73 to get an idea if it's original or not. All I found in old threads was info on the earlier vettes that had an actual date stamped on the pad.
Mine says AW W130 E2. I know AW=3.08, but I can't find anything on the rest. Anyone have the decoder for this?

W is the code for the Warren Michigan Plant
the 130 is a Julian date and indicates the 130th day of the year. E indicates the posi-traction source of Eaton and the 2 is the shift that assembled the unit.

130 works out to may 10th, which makes sense with my trim tag date of may 17th... how would I determine the year?

I believe there should be a production date cast, not stamped on the
rear end housing and rear end cover. Should be a letter,A for Jan. etc.
2 numbers for day of month and the last number for year,3for73,4for74
etc. If I am wrong someone will correct.

Early C3s use a two-digit code for year while late C3s use a single digit for year...like "7" for 1977. the mid C3s...well did not use anything
