Default Really silly question...

I went a checked out an '81 this weekend.

I noticed something odd that I wasn't aware of before for some reason - it does not have a rear hatch that opens. You have to access the rear of the vehicle from the front.

Forgive me - I'm still new and learning.

The question - Which (if any) of the C3 model years had a rear hatch/hatch glass that would open to allow access into the rear of the vehicle?

Not sure if that will affect my decision in which car to buy, but it would be a nice feature to have if it's available.

Thanks for humoring me.

Wow. So just one model?

Unfortunately I don't care for the color scheme of the '82 Collector Edition (especially the interior). Too many shades of brown for me.

Looks like I'll have to deal with the fact that I get no rear hatch.

Thanks for the quick responses!
