Great body style, although I'd look for an 82 instead as it has the OD transmission., and if you find one where that huge rear window opens, that is a very nice feature.
Next is if you want to run a card or Fuel Injection.
An 81 can still be converted to a carb, an 82 is the one year only throttle style FI system and is difficult to make much power as the intake runners are so small.
If you are OK with the FI system and just want a driver, the 82 is my choice. If you want to make more power and add a lot of mods, go for the 81.

But the 80-80 are all good cars SLOW but good.
