Default Now That's Scary.

Had to share this true story w/you. Yesterday I took my buddy's 66 coupe which I have worked on in the past to a body shop. The problem is frame rot & its bad. But that's not what the threads about.

The owner Vic is showing me pictures of other cars mostly vettes he has worked on. He shows me this one C3 and stops as we are looking at the pic's and said "man that one was spooky" He tells me to look at the picture & asks what do I see. I look at the car its sanded down to the glass dust every where & the car is back lit but shop lights. Nothing you havn't seen before right. Wrong he says see the guy in the passenger seat. I see a figure behind the dusty windshield wearing sunglasses. Ya I see him. This is where it gets spooky. Vic tells me there was no one in the car or shop when he took that picture. Then he shows me another pic same car taken same day where his daughter came into the shop w/lunch & he takes her picture next to the vette. Now the passenger is looking right at his daughter & yes Vic's say there was no on in the shop but me & my daugther.

Vic didn't see these pic's until after the car was delivered to the owner when he developed the roll. He calls the owner and asks where did you buy your C3. The owner tells him from a women who told me her husband owned the car but was killed in a car accident. She said she couldn't keep the car around because it reminded her to much of her late husband. Which made her very sad. I got chills looking at those pictures. I asked if he told the current owner and he said no & that he never saw the guy of the vette again.

Vic is a cool old hot-rod'er in his late 50's maybe early 60's. He told me after he developed those pictures & heard from the owner that when he would be working late at night in the shop & hear a strange noise he would jump out of his skin. Vic's a good ol boy and 6' 230lbs. He said after that he would bring his two dogs in the garage & turn-ons all the lights at night.

Oh thanks Scotty. Believe me I don't believe any thing that I hear and half of what I see but if I didn't see these pictures I won't believe the story. I try to get a digital of the original. If it doesn't come out in the digital I'll bring bobs77vet over to look at the picture. If you can't believe a lawman who can you believe.

Gotta have pics for this one! It's a Forum rule, or obligation, or some such thing. You can't tease other Forum members without pictures. I'm pretty sure it's there.

I thought that ended up being a set worker that was near the curtains. I know a long time ago we rented that movie and we paused it at that scene and it showed the dude clear as day. Pretty weird stuff.
