Temps have been in the 50s in Boulder. The roads are clear. But, my north facing driveway at 7800' is still snowpacked and icy. With more snow forcast for later this week-end, I've been itching to get the car out to see how the new spring, shocks and MC are working. So, against the advice of my wife (who is very cautious) I rolled her out. Took it slow, didn't scrape bottom on any ice build ups and made it to the road with no problem! The drive into work was great. Getting back up the driveway may be a little interesting but the positraction will help. Anyway, I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.

I'll atest to that. I saw my brother drive his 75 in 4-6 inches of snow. He was going up hills that I couldn't do in his Ford ranger (without 4wd engaged). Of course when he passed someone going up a hill sideways...the look on their face was priceless.
Makes me glad that I'm in Florida... 12 months of Vette season
Except for 5 months during summer and the fall...
Rain, hurricanes and humidity.... no fun to drive in... plus you have to haul around all that power robbing air conditioning equipment and roof tops...
Alanbl willl be posting about the great weather when you're sitting in a monsoon...

my elevation is 9' and i'm 1/4 mile from the Atlantic.........when the tsunami comes its all over for this guy.....but anyway its great to drive them when ever you can.....i guess you have to worry about the frozen ice in the shadows of the mountains on those turns...seems to me they had a term for that, just can't think of it now...
