Default Stainless Hooker Sidepipes..

Does anybody use the polished, stainless Hooker Sidepipes?

Do they discolor on the headers like the chrome ones do?
Do they look just like chrome?

Please share any experiences or pics if you have them!

Even though I like the looks of my black pipes (on the yellow '68), they do get a lot of surface rust and need to be re-sprayed on a regular basis.. I really don't wanna deal with that and want to get the stainless ones...

-yes they discolor @ the headers. none @ side tubes
-looks like chrome
-can polish out minor nicks from rocks and scratches from shoes entering / exiting car
-they don't rust
-very happy with them so far

Hey Olivier, Norm had his coated black. I'm pretty sure they hold up fine. Might want to give him a yell.

It's a very tight fit at the steering box. Unlike the coated version you can just to make it fit without having to worry about re-coating, chipped paint or whatsoever.... just , tighten the bolts and drive....
