I have been having a bit of trouble with my battery discharging over a few days of not driving. I put in a battery switch until I can find the problem.
I notice a relay in the console energizing when I switch the battery on. Are there more than one relay in the console? What do they/it do? With everything off, including dome light, there is a .20 amp drain. There is no change when I pull the fuses located by my left foot. Any ideas of where to look? Thanks
Also, is there anything in the console area that would cause my bat. idiot light and volt gage to stop working intermittantly?

I believe that is the power window relay. The draw may be the alarm or horn relay. (Dis-regard if you horn is working.) Nothing in the console area will affect the idiot lights.
If you have all the fuses pulled and still have a .2 amp draw, try disconnecting the alternator wiring. Sometimes a diode will short out and bleed off a little current.
Could it be the anti-theft relay that you hear? There is a flasher connected to it also. Just a thought, could you have locked the drivers door with the key activating the alarm and then used the power lock switch maybe from the passenger side to unlock the doors which would leave the alarm activated? Assuming the seperate ALARM horn under the hood doesn't work(lot of them don't). Not sure if just the relay would cause a draw, tho.
The antenna relay is way in the rear of the console under the arm rest.
