Just installed my "LARS Tuned" q-jet...on my 72 Vert. What a difference....like a different car!!! Smooth idle, great throttle response, no more black black smoke at idle.
Even with some vacuum leaks (brake booster...new one is on the way) engine runs flawlessly...no stumbles, good cold start....

I'm bumming - Lars sent me back an email this afternoon and will not be doing carbs for a while. I guess I missed the cut-off. The more I see how happy his customers are, the more I realize I'll probably have to settle for a second rate rebuild 
Anyone have any suggestions on who to use since Lars can't rebuild mine for a year or so? I don't think I can wait that long.

There is a guy over on a Pontiac forum named Cliff who is famous for tuning Q Jets. I remember Lars saying he was building a Pontiac 463. Hmm.... Cliff = Lars? I don't recall ever seeing them in the same place.
