'76 Dash wiring project almost done - almost...
- remember that old commercial (for FedEx, I believe)...
that's what it feels like but I'm getting there... New dash harness is mounted up -I've got the speedo/tach cluster wired up and back in place so far. Swapped in new bulbs, flasher relays, key ignition buzzer, headlight and ignition switch units for good measure.
Had to superglue the little white connector on the vent door back together and install some new insulation while I was under the gutted dash. Luckily no major rust issues underneath or on the windshield pillars (pretty amazing considering it's a Canadian car).
Movin' onto the center cluster later this week, time permitting. New cluster frame replaces the boogered one I pulled out and I've got a refreshed correct OEM am/fm stereo going in. Wish I had some extra $$ to spring for a working clock!
As for a working clock. I envy mine. It keeps perfect time, but only when it feels like working.
Good luck.
