Government Auctions

Anyone here ever buy a car from a govt. auction? I found a place online that lists auctions across the country but for a monthly subscription fee. Do many C3's show up on these lists? I'm thinking about giving it a try. My wife needs a new car so maybe it's worth a peek.

I wouldnt count on these auctions when your looking for a specific car. If your looking for a good deal on a C3, just be patient and keep your eyes open.

I bought an 81 vette at a City of Atlanta Police auction for 6.5K about ten years ago. I have not seen a C3 at an auction in a while.

If you want a Dodge Stratus or Plymouth Breeze, it would be worth it. I got a brand new Stratus 3 years ago at Ft Bragg, drove it for three years, then turned it in with 11,000 miles on it. Would have loved to have bought it for cheap.
