Well...after many brain farts and some research, these are the mirrors I decided to go with. Sorta like the Olds Aurora mirrors but not quite as gawdy. How do you think they look? Bash away...
they look really good and dont look out of place at all and actually look like they belong on your car but i still like the chrome mirrors and that is why i put them back on my 76 and got rid of the broke sport mirrors taht were put on. yours look really good though and i like them as well

Other than adding about 3% more drag,how do you adjust them ?
I think the drag would be about the same. Probably picked up drag in the post area vs the thin chrome post but lost drag in the bullet shape of the upper mirror vs the flat "billboard" type originals. The inner mirror adjusts manually unless you wanna hook up the electrics...
The mirrors look good but I have to agree with Tony that they would fit a rubber bumper better... a little too "modern" for the chrome bumper C3 but that's only my 2c.... the sidepipes will definately make up for the chrome deficiency
