Default 1979 vette question

I picked up a 79 off of ebay for my boss. I drove to Ocala Fl to pick it up today. It is ice blue claims only 3026 made in this color. There is a switch next to the a/c controls that has a green light that comes on when you flip it. What is this switch for?

Yup it has the defrost in the rear.. Thanks guys. I am also needing a set of rear tailights/backups. The ones on the car are all cracked up.

That is such a fine looking car, I think you ought to send the seller an extra $1000!

looks like a good buy. I've been looking at taillight lenses for my 79 also. If you're looking at all 4, I haven't found that Zip sells all 4 as a set, just individually, so the ones who sell the set are little cheaper.
