The guy used the same material used for making the windows for verts.
He specifically told me to always make sure its warm before manuvering (it rolls up) it into place or it would *break* if its cold.
He also said as they get older, they get more brittle.

yes i have had many convertibles....the hot sun is your friend...do not even try it other wise or the seams with rip on you.....
