thats ok, the stab bar is there to pull the inside wheel up in a hard turn, doesn't matter if there is some curve in it. More important that the ends are paralell when mounted
I agree - 'tis fine.
Boy you guys in So NH sure are ****. I mean us guys.
That's not YOUR vette, is it Tony ?
That rusty chassis does not match the rest of the vette.
Small bars on the early SB vettes. I think I still have my 75
bar if you wanna try that. You might need to get brackets and
bushings ... not sure if those are still good. If I find it in time, I'll
bring it to Hudson on the 8th.
That looks like my bar. I was thinking of getting a new front & adding a rear. Can anyone tell me if it really makes a difference. So didn't mean to steel you thread. But if your going to buy a new sway bar you may want to upgrade to a thicker front & add a rear also.
Thanks
Jim
Unfortunatley it is, but it's just a little surface rust that will be taken care of while the engines out.
LMAO ... that's what I said as I started my body-off 4+ years ago.
regarding replacement sway bar sets ...
I haven't really driven with my new 1" and 3/4" combo.
Trouble is that I'm going to new wheels, too.
Be careful, as a rear bar can make the back end come out
under heavy cornering and acceleration. I went with both and
decided that I can always pull the rear.
