courtesy light
the courtesy light when i open the drivers door is not functioning. is it on a seperate fuse from the passenger door. pass. door works fine so it must be the switch. i took the kick panel off and wires seem to be fine. as usually your advice is appreciated.

You don't say what year, but assuming they are all the same to my 69, one place to look is see if some corrosion on threads of switch and housing on car preventing a good ground Or maybe they have their own ground wire?!?!?!?). When you have the switch out, check the tabs on the wires that contact the switch, they are replaceable if broken. If all that passes, try a new switch after touching the 2 wires together to check the circuit....B
