Default GM Letter designation for Corvette
It occured to me tonight that my 71 Cutlass was an A body, my 81 Z28 was an F body, but I've never heard what the letter designation for the Corvette is. Anyone?

on that topic.. whats the letter for a nova? i heard x body but that could have been x as in i have no idea x.

I'm fairly sure the Nova designation is indeed X.

Yep. 77 service manual says X.

W - '89 Cutlass Supreme
X - '77 Pontiac Ventura
Y - '76 Corvette

Except the Z body appears to be a Saturn, and I'm not going there. I did have a Z34 Lumina, but sold it last weekend.
