I was looking for a camaro and stumbled across this
think i gonna buy it and then get a camaro in the fall
or xmas time as i am sure it will take the wife that long
to calm down.
Looks like an awesome car for the money, but be VERY careful about the salvage title. Don't be too quick to believe everything this guy says. Do cars really get a salvage title just from being impounded?
If everything's clean, though, it seems like one awesome deal, and I definitely say go for it!

ya dont really care about the salvage title as long as frame aint beyond repair
I do wonder if that salvage would follow it across the border though
Nice car, I dont know about the sellers description of the exhaust,,,souinds almost obscene . I'd say go for it if it checks out title wise,, probably really glorified for the sale but looks like a nice start. Peace,,,Moosie
Ask him for the hi-res photos. My take on ebay is, if the seller can't post good quality photo's and lot's of them, along with a straight forward no BS description, it isn't worth buying. There are no photo's of the underside of the car, these are notorious for rot. There is no frame. A salvage title to boot.
10k is a lot for a car you can't see. If it's an original Calif car and the floors, shock towers, cowl/firewall, trunk are solid and original, I might be able to justify the price if I were looking for a Nova. The '65 and earlier Nova's, are the least desirable of the shoebox bodies so don't overpay. A true SS is a plus. Have you driven one of these Nova's? They don't handle or steer like the Camaro you want, so you may want to wait. You could get a decent C3 or C4 for 10k.
Theirs no way Id pay that much for a car with a salvage title. Those cars can never recoup their money. That would cut the value by atleast 75 percent. No matter what you do, no one will ever be sure of its history.
