'78 project - progress pics
thanks.

Trip stopped by and helped me out greatly with the fuel pump so that issue is out of the way.
You can call me Bubba now since that spacer for the AC and AIR pump brackets is missing but 3 flat washers work just as good.......

Trip also identified that bracket as the rad support bracket. turns out the reaon I forgot so quickly where it was from is that I wasn't the one that removed it. Trip stopped by a few weeks ago and helped me pull the radiator and core support and he's the one that removed that bracket. I'm sure if I'm the one that had to reach in there to get it out I wouldn't have forgotten what it was.

Thanks for your help though

just finished getting the AC compressor mounted up, all the belts on, the fanblade and fan clutch, EGR valve, and bolted up the valve covers that were just sitting on there plus of course the fuel pump that Trip helped me with.
Got a bit more of the frame cleaned off and I'm hoping to be able to start painting the frame by the weekend if I'm lucky.
I think i'm about done with the motor currently as there isn't much else to be able to put on it until after it's dropped back in the car. I've tried to put as much back on the motor now to save work leaning over the fenders later. It sould be a relatively easy reinstall once the frames ready. Drop in the motor, bolt up the tranny, drop in the radiator/core support/AC evaporator, hook up the fuel lines coolant lines, AC lines and vacuum lines, put on the carb and distributor and than hope she runs!
