Anybody know a good custom muffler shop near or in Danbury CT. I need to have the 71`s exhaust system finished, gone as far as I can go without welding and custom bending. Thanks

there's a few in the danbury area....meineke,monro,danbury auto ctr,midas,.. might be best to make a few calls first to see if you can get some quotes.....i got a price for my '79 from monro muffler in norwalk. can you drive the vette or does it need to be flatbedded?...

I had mine done a few years ago by a guy in Cheshire.... needless to say, im ripping it off and going to attempt to custom build a system myself. I plan on buying a few stainless 2.5" mandrel bends and some straight pipe, cutting them up, and welding all into place. Never attempted such a project, but hey, there's only one way to learn!

Found a guy in Danbury. place called Danbury Car Care. Guy there by the name of Pete, very nice install on a scewed up factory 2.5 system with afterbuner mufflers. thanks, Pete! Sounds Great with the EQ tube!
