Default Making Good Progress... Thanks Guys

I purchased my 4th Vette in January 06. 82 Blue Silver with 120k miles on it. The car is in decent shape but by no means is perfect or in show condition. (probably will never be in show condition) The interior is a 8.5 out of 10. The car needs paint but the paint is servicable (not an eye sore) The engine runs well and the tranny is in great shape.

Things fixed and now operational:

I have fixed the headlights, the power door locks, and the passengers side door handle.
I have replaced a few interior parts.
I have stopped the rust problem in the doors.
I have stopped the rust on the gas tank and have painted the gas tank.
I have painted the spare tire carrier, New weather stripping on the door mains.
Installed a period correct stereo.
The factory alarm system is now functional.

Things that remain to be fixed:

I am in the process of cleaning the entire under carraige up and painting the under carraige.
I am waiting on a power antenna relay to arrive! Thanks Twin Turbo.
I am waiting on a turn signal lever to arrive as well. I hope this fixes the cruise control and of course the broken lever. Thanks C3 in Hawaii (Davyn)
The rear defroster needs to be fixed.
I need to replace the valve cover gaskets. Which will stop the oil leak!
I have to remove the front air dam and hopefully I can take the crease out where some idiot ran it over a curb or parking stop marker and install the rubber front spoiler.
Need new tires.
Paint....hmmm that will be in the near distant future maybe next spring!
Oh and repair the 2nd set of roof panels. (needs new latches and shims)

I just wanted to give everyone and update and to thank the folks who have responded to my threads and offered USEFULL advise. THIS SITE IS THE MOST USEFULL TOOL AVAILABLE. The shop repair manual is a close second.lol

One of the most frequently used tools in my garage over the last 10 years while restoring my Corvette has been the computer so I could get help and advice from this forum.
Absolutely fantastic to be able to get help anytime day or night from people who have been there or are doing the same thing and without the ripoff advise you get from dealers who just want to sell you somehting whether it works or not. This froum is a fantastic asset no matter what you are doing on your Vette. Great people here who are always willing to help.
