Replacement Master Cylinder
My engine is out and I'm renovating the engine compartment. My original master cylinder is gone and I have a no-name replacement. I don't want to get crazy with a dated replacement, but I'd like to know what repalcements looks original. Delco lists a model 18M72. Any experience with the Delco unit or quality replacements?

If I'm not mistaken, the original 72 had bleeder valves on the lower portion (fender side) of each resivouir. I've seen MC's with flats in the casting where the bleeders would go, but are not drilled & tapped for the valves. Sorry...no numbers for ya.
