Searched the forum but could not locate anything. Can you dye seatbelts with fabric dye? My black belts have faded to blue(still very black down in the reel). Thought about removing them and soaking them in dye solution. Anyone tried this?
windsoreight,
If you would be interested in selling the tan ones, i may be interested. Maybe I can even help you try to find black ones and then both of us would be better off (assuming your tan ones are correct for my 71 dark saddle interior car)???
[b]yeah I've Tried It And It Dosen't Work!!!!! Don't Waste Your Time. Iam Waiting To Get Mine Back From Snake-oyl In Texas $167.00 To Re-web...to Doeskin From Red
I tried to dye from dark blue to black, got darker but still looked blue. The black also came off a little on my clothes. If I had a shirt that was just a bit damp from sweat the dye would stain the shirt. I gave up and got black belts and put them in.
