I have a 75 Stingray with disc brakes all around. I wanted to creep away from the stock rally rims and go more towards a chrome Cragar SS or chrome American Racing Torq Thrust style. I was told that I would need to stick with a 2 piece style. I am not a fan of polished and would like to stick with chrome. Another thing that is hard to find it seems. Anyone have any suggestions or maybe they have used another rim that is "vintage" styling that can be used on a 75 with disc? I currently have 225/70/R15 and would most likely go to a 255/60/R15 to give it a sleaker look.
Thought I might float around the Vette show in Chicago and get some ideas.
You can use the one piece American torque thrust "D" which has the gray spokes, or the two-piece torque thrust II which come polished or chrome plated. Either one has the curved spokes which will clear the Vette disk brakes. I'd stay away from Cragars.

Just curious, why stay away from the cragar's? i love the look, though i have heard the quality has suffered recently.....
I have a family member who is a manager for a tire chain. He called American Racing for me and they told him they do not offer a chrome version. It is part chrome and the rest is polished. I think that was the Series 420 200S lineup. I would love to find all chrome.
All C3s used the same brakes. If it fits a 75, it will fit a 68 or an 82.
That said, I did almost the same as Graeme. I got mine directly from Wheel Vintiques. 17x8 with replica center caps and a powdercoated center to mimic the factory rallyes.
They say to stay away from the Cragar S/S because it won't clear the calipers without a spacer/adapter.
