today i'm 53...what can i do if the rebelion of the youth is still there, the passion impulses still make me sweat by night and the approach to everyday life still goes through the filter of the early ages 'immaturity'?

In my own simple opinion . Cherish it. Do not let the fire go out as so many do. You can tell just by looking in there eyes and notice the fire has gone out.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I'm 40 and have come to the conclusion that I will probably never grow up. Old maybe but not grown up. I can now afford the things I couldn't as a college student and hey, my insurance is cheaper. Little do they know! Enjoy your birthday!

Probably a bad ground connection or dirty terminals when you have trouble with the lights. Pretty common on old cars. Try cleaning the battery connections.

Being the elder that I am, I'm 54 I just have one thing to say. "This ain't the poetry forum, snap out of it man!"

I'm 51 and still passionate about my "Mad Horse" (Corvette). Happy BD.
