Chrome Spray paint??

They carry it at the Depot, multiple brands. Never tried it but have interest in others experience...

Dupli-Color produces a chrome spray paint. I'm not too sure how well it holds up though...never used it. :o

chrome paint? is there any such thing? most "chrome" paint when sprayed looks silver. does someone actually make a true chrome paint?

I've used Krylon's brand of chrome paint. I painted my 3 front grilles. It looks aluminum not chrome.

I bought rustoleum I belive from Home Depot, and as mentioned, it looks no differnt than plain silver to me.

The chrome in chrome paint is refering to the color, There is nothing out there that will give you a real chrome finish except "chrome plating"
Chrome paint looks the same as silver paint.

At some car shows in Pa. there is a vendor that sells all types of paint all finishes he has a chrome paint it is not like real chrome but it is better than the silver spray I dont have his name but if I can find the card I will post it

The answer is yes..nearly! Go to innate.com and check out the alumifec or mirror chrome paint...or theres the alsa company that makes a good chrome paint. Its time intensive and not cheap...but done properly looks awesome.

the center grill in this photo is new nos from 1973 just installed outta the box,the 2 outside grills are origionals i painted the black then used chrome paint and applied w/ a q tip------------------------------------------------------------------

i also learned son't try to clear the chrome spray paint...turns it silver grey. look slike crap! overall it fades to silver gray anyway. wasn't worth the effort now that I tried i.

I used chrome paint once....on my bike in 7th grade. Bike got stolen like a week and a half later.

Somebody thought that chrome paint was ultra

You might also check www.eastwood.com for a product called "Almost Chrome". I have no personal experience with it, but have heard good things.

i have never found a truly chrome paint....usually a bright silver. Even plastic pieces which have chrome flashing supposedly get electrostatic plating.
