Anyone besides me planning on going to the Good Guys Car Show this weekend?

I want to go see some of the nice paint jobs on the cars, hear the motors of some open headers, see some nice old cars cruising around...

Last year when I went, they did a cruise up the main entrance from about 5 to 6 pm, and it was like a parade of classic cars. After seeing that, I vowed that one day I'd have a nice classic to cruise up and down like that.

I wish I could, but I live in Illinois and it would be a little bit of a drive. I am the crew cheif on a nostalgia funny car and we have run the Good Guys Indy before, you are correct, there are a lot of really nice rides out there to look at. I've been wanting to build another Vette, but the wife says we need a street rod with a back seat so the grand kids can come along, I'm looking for a 40 Ford sedan, but first I need to find some money. Enjoy the show this weekend.

I'm just looking forward to drooling over the nice cars, and also meeting Norm Grabowski & Bill Hines, 2 great hot rod customizers. I had a chance to see them work on an old school hot rod build on Monster Garage, and some of the techniques that they used were priceless, IMHO.
