Help removing main console
Hey guys, I have the parking brake console removed, the shifter trim plate removed, the climate control panel unscrewed, the front access plates removed and the screws holding the front of the console down removed. Do I need to also remove the center gauge cluster to get to the remaining fasteners ? The back of the console is free & ready to come out but the top front is still held down. Thanks for your help!!! Took the day off to remove the interior and got stuck here...

My 75 had slots, not holes. So, try loosening and sliding back.
Oh - there might also be two screws on the side - accessed after
removing the small covers on the front edges of the console.
