Hmmm....I'm talking about the 4 speed "shift pattern" on the shifter plate....its probably 3.5" long and 2" wide.
Might be different on your year or are you talking about the 2 plastic sliders on an auto stick??

I have a 76.
On the back, it appears there is a longer plastic piece on top of the shift pattern plate. In order to get to the pattern plate, Im going to have to remove this top layer. But I see no screw holes.
