Well a rather successfull day indeed the body is now off and i used the proper sling to pull it rather than rapping the underside with slings. What an overwhelming feeling rolling the frame out from under the body you who have done it know what I'm talking about , but on a more serious note my frame mounts were rusted wright through and i couldnt tell until it was seperated , so basically the only thing holding my body intact was the front nose mount (glued on) even the number one mounts were shot so all you guys out there who think your mounts are o.k. better look a little closer I will post pictures of the number one and four frame mounts , when the body was together the #1 and 4 frame mounts looked good but after removing the rubber it basically rusted a hole the perfect size of the rubber mount out ''frickin scary'' especially thinking back on how i drove my car So if you think your still attached here and there you better look a little closer !pics comming soon.

You are definately right on the money with that one. Before I started my restoration project, the most work I ever did on my Corvette was change the alternator. I have since removed the body, engine, and transmission. I am currently in the middle of rebuilding my transmission and on friday, I'm going to start on the engine. I am definately proud of what I have done to my Corvette so far. I almost feel like I know what I'm talking about when it comes to cars now...
