Shifter buzz...
Been getting shifter "buzz" at 75 or so..(had attributed it to exhaust resonance at same speed)....drove to Yuma,Az yesterday,and while parking at restaurant,the shifter got loose from 1st to 2nd and would not go into third,fourth or reverse... 
So called AAMCO and manager said they were closed,but come by,and he offered to put it on rack to check it...I drove there in 2nd gear....we had to put 2x12's on floor to get front wheels higher so my power steering would not drag on lift...
Just need a spring clip and he brought out a plastic box full of linkage parts,spring washers,etc saved from chevy tranny's...20 minutes later,was on the road,all fixed...Cool guy and I took care of him and he said if any Vette guys need help,just drop by,even if they are closed...he is usually there,tinkering around..Ask for Dave...
