Default custom console data plates

i have e mailed a photo of my existing console data plate to afterthoughts auto to see if they can make up the updated versions of the console plate for c-3 corvettes, they have forwared the photo to the person who makes the plates now they have to check with g.m. to see if there licesnseing w g m will cover the crossed flag logo, if they get the go ahead we will be able to get modern versions of the data plate, i have also sent them the measurements of the plate, but if they get the o k i will get them a typical data plate from a catalog house so the custom ones will exactly match the origional as far as fit ect.it will take some time but i keep you posted as i hear from them,,,,,mine is gonna say 431 h p ----532 torque----10 to 1 compression and 383 cubic inches,,,,hope there are others interested in this,,,(notice how groomed my fingernails are!!),,,,,,,,,,carl----------------------

i guess i will have to wait to see if they can even do it. with the g.m.licensing . after they get the go ahead ill go to step 2..i still havent gotten the 73 in the body shop to install the sharks and my final paintwork andy,,,i was involved in a crash last sunday so my s-10 had to go in,,,it pushed everything back a week, but i should get the s-10 out by friday which means i can get the vette in monday afternoon, and have it back a week from friday(the14th) so i'll forward the photos at that time,,sorry,,,her gas pedal stuck full throddle,,she smashed into me,,,took out the new grill turnsignal benzal,,and if i wasnt there to deflect her line of travel ,,she would have ran into the edison transformer feeding the menards store i was trying to get into! i probably saved her life, which waas good,,she had no drivers licesne,,and a crappy insurance binder policy!so once again i get involved with a driver that should not be on the road,,no ticket was issued to her,,private property! she should of gone to jail

Hey Carl if that does not work out for you, I could always make you some data plates. I own (well my dad owns and I operate) a print shop, I can print on some .032 Aluminum or .020 Aluminum, put a 3M low energy adhesive on the back, and cut to whatever size/shape. I could inculde whatever information you wanted and keep the logo if wanted. Keep us up to date on what you find out...

Thanks,
David
