Default Vacuum Storage Tank
I know I should be in the parts area but,,, I just found a hole in my vacuum storage tank and of course, nobody sells these things Has anyone used a tank from another model year or modified something to work? I got a '69.

I would repair the tank with epoxy.

I used a fiberglass repair kit, just laid a small section and sanded it smooth.

I used an 81 tank. It's like a #10 can with a few tubes sticking out. Still available new from GM a few years back.

i ended up bypassing my storage tank altogether. of course, now i have to turn the lights off BEFORE i turn the engine off!

No one reproduces the originals so a used one is your only option. Try to repair it where it sits (if you can) cause they are a pain to remove. Especially if you have pwr brakes & 4 speed.
