Default My first car show

Every Saturday evening at the Glen Burnie Mall in Maryland, the have a classic car show. By night's end, they get up to about 500 cars. All makes/models. From all over Maryland.

So I decided to take my Vette there. We were surprised I had one of the nicer looking C3s there. Yeah, there were some chrome bumpers there, some 454s, but I had the best paint job and interior (of the C3s). Most looked like they were nearing the end of their restorations.

I had a lot of people talk to me about the car, including one guy who offered me $15,000 on the spot. I only paid $10,500 for it 3 months ago.

Anyway, its every Saturday starting at 5 pm if any of you local guys are interested. The local food places offer discounts/coupons to the people in the show too.

My first show was at the end of last year. Nothing like the feeling of people having to turn around at the gates and when you pull up, somebody runs over and pulls the gate back to let you in.

I decided that even though my car isn't worth 15k, that is my magic purchase price for this summer. So everytime someone asks if it's for sale, yes it is. I have a feeling that I missed a sale for that last year. An older gent and his wife asked. I said not for sale. I think she wanted it pretty badly.

You should take the $15K and get a chrome bumpered one. Hope I get the same offer when mine comes out of the paint shop.

I thought about it for a second. I think Im going to get a chrome bumper car eventually anyway, so I may as well keep it and have 2.
